Continuing Medical Education (CME)
This activity is jointly provided by Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and University of Colorado School of Medicine.
The WGEA 2018 Meeting is eligible for 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM per hour of instruction.
There is no additional fee for CME. Meeting attendees indicating their desire to receive CME credits (asked during the registration process) will be contacted after the conference on how to collect their CME credits.
Full accreditation information will be provided to attendees prior to the start of the meeting.
The full conference registration (early bird, standard, and student) fee covers meeting materials, 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 2 receptions.

*Student Discount: A valid student ID is required to qualify for the student rate. You must bring your student ID onsite or be in jeopardy of being required to pay the difference of the standard registration fee. The student discount is limited to the first 50 students registered.
**Guest Registration: This fee reflects the actual cost of attendance at the reception on March 25 and the social activity on March 26. Guests will not have access to meeting sessions. Personal guests will not receive meeting materials. Please note that a “personal guest” is not a business associate or staff member. Guests are required to be registered and wear badges at all functions; individuals without badges will not be admitted.
The 2018 WGEA Meeting will highlight the following themes as they relate to “Teaching the Physician of the Future”
qualities of a curious learner, how to create, support, and engage curious learners
encouraging students to engage in the communities around them, building relationships with the communities you serve
modelling commitment to patients and the medical profession in the classroom, on campus, and/or in healthcare settings
preparing the learner to work on teams, skills needed by the physician leader to promote collaboration
